The trojan may arrive as a dropped or downloaded file by another malware.

Upon execution the trojan encrypts files with the following extensions found in the hard disk.

xls, docx, csv, doc, mdb, ppt, pptx, mpl, pps, rar, vsd, rtf, txt, vst, xlsx and zip

Once encrypted the files with the above-mentioned extensions will be unusable.

It creates the file ASAP!!!.txt in the root of C: drive and executes the same.

The trojan modifies registry at the following location to load the above-mentioned text file during each startup:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

The said file contains the following text.
