W32/Himu.A is a worm. The worm will infect Windows systems.

Upon execution, the worm creates a folder named SystemVoliumeInfo and then copies itself as services.exe in the same folder.

It also copies the following files in various different folders.

usernames.exe
passwordlist.exe
asdf45396ftADMIN.exe
STATUSreport252.exe
USERNAE485369KD5L.exe
BBCandCNNreport.exe
global_report.exe

It modifies the registry at the following location to load itself during each startup.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

It then tries to terminate some security related processes, it also tries to restrict access to some of the security related websites.

This worm first appeared on July 15, 2007.
