Information about the JS/KAK.B:

JS/KAK.B is a rapidly spreading javascript worm through MS-Outlook. This is a variant of KAK worm. This worm is targetted to exploit the security hole of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0. The worm is installed in your computer, when the infected mail is opened. It creates a file called DAY.HTA in the Windows startup directory. It also includes the script to every outbound mail. On the next Windows startup, the worm launches itself and modifies the registry at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Identities/ /Software/Microsoft
/Outlook Express/5.0/signatures

It creates a file days.day which is the original autoexec.bat.The following message is displayed on 1st of every month at 5.00 p.m.

However this worm will not be executed automatically, if you have already installed the patch from Microsoft.
