W32/Lupar.A is a worm. The worm will infect Windows systems. The worm spreads through P2P software and network.

Upon execution, the worm drops a copy of itself as parvulus.exe in any one of the randomly chosen folder from the infected computer.

It also creates a folder by name \p\a\r\v\u\l\u\s in Windows System folder.

The worm carries a payload, it shuts down the infected computer if any file with .jpg extension is copied.

It spreads through P2P software by copying itself as any one of the following in the shared folders of Kazaa, eDonkey and DCPlusPlus software.
