JS/Menger Worm

Information about the JS/Menger Worm:

JS/Menger is a Java script exploit worm. This worm spreads using MSN messenger installed in Windows computer.

The worm sends out a website link information to the online MSN messenger user. Upon visiting the website, the worm executes its Javascript code. The script inturn sends the link containing worm code to other MSN buddies. It collects user's logon information and sends an email to the author without his/her knowledge.

This worm first appeared on 13th February 2002.
