W32/Mumawow.C is a Worm. The Worm will infect Windows systems and spreads through email.

Upon execution, the worm creates kl.exe in System folder located under Program Files\Common files, It also creates vers.txt in the same folder.

This worm creates autorun.inf file in the root of windows installed drive to run itself during each startup.

The worm creates the following mutex to make sure that only one instance of it is running in the infected system.

The worm downloads files from the following location.

http://[blocked]kmip.net/1.exe
http://[blocked]kmip.net/2.exe
http://[blocked]kmip.net/3.exe

It saves the downloaded file in the following location.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\d1.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\d2.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\d3.exe
